Coalesce

International Art Symposium "IT WAS, IT IS and IT WILL BE", Goszcz, 2023

Coalesce, an installation made with PhD student Laura Adel. It’s an interactive, work that transforms participants' movements into dynamic visuals and responsive sound. The frozen poses ascend from figurative to abstract, harmonizing with the participant's control over sound modulation through hand and spine positions.

The dancer navigates between physical and virtual realms, embodying a somatic interface, while the evolving narrative explores the integration of disparate elements in a coherent experience. The performative piece is created in dialogue with all implicated media - visuals, sounds, movement and space.
